Valor Loves Growth wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.
The standard we work toward
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility is ongoing work, and we review the Site as we add pages and features.
What we have built in
- A skip link to jump straight to the main content
- One clear page heading and a logical heading order
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus outlines
- Labels on every form field, with errors announced to screen readers
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology
- Color contrast chosen to meet AA levels, and information never conveyed by color alone
- Layouts that reflow on small screens and when text is enlarged
- Reduced motion for people who turn off animation in their system settings
Known limitations
Some older blog images and embedded third-party content may not yet meet every guideline. Client work samples shown as images may contain text we describe in the surrounding copy instead.
